The Short Film
W(H)OMAN the short film is a multi-lingual non traditional documentary that combines the art of dress, words, movement, sound and visuals, to traditional interviews, to drive a story around womanhood.
It explores the theme of the everyday Ghanaian woman and her contributions with a focus on a gloom time in the history of Ghana. How did the women cope, what did they do prior and who are these people whose efforts are unseen and often unwritten? W(H)OMAN asks and partially answers the heavily layered question “Who is a woman?”
