To whom it may concern,
as you might or might not be aware, today is mothers day and as you might remember from last weeks episode (if you listened) I asked you to help me help you say I love you to your mothers and all the women who have been like mothers and have been mothers to us!
So on behalf of all of us to the mothers… biological mothers, grandmother_mothers, cool aunty_ mothers, single mothers, adopted mothers, temporary adopted mothers, foster mothers and ALL other kinds of women who have taken upon themselves the cross of motherhood in some way shape or form, I will like to say THANK YOU.
One cannot relate to motherhood if one has not been a mother and if not for anything, the singular choice you all make every single day to love, protect, care and seek the well-being (sometimes in ways we don’t agree on) is appreciated.
No matter the differences, a mother is irreplaceable and it is my deepest desire that we not only celebrate them today, but all the days of our lives. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!
