Grandma’s Kitchen is a collection of photos from a day in the life of a matriach whose home has had an open door policy for many. All of the subjects captured here are somewhat related to her. Spanning different generations the open air market is a place where familial ties are shared through trade. Cooking in an open air kitchen is another beautiful way the family shares itself with each other. Grandma’s kitchen is not just about food or market stalls, it is about life and community, kinship and the continuation of lineage in simple everyday tasks.
PS: That is my actual grandma’s home and this is my actual family <3 :)
